Founded in 2008 by Sandra Colamartino, a graphic designer who wanted to combine her two favorite things - beautiful design and delicious chocolate. Starting out by creating personalized chocolate bars in her small workshop in Edinburgh, she quickly grew into a perfectly formed independent business now based in a former Art Deco school at the foot of Arthur's Seat, the famous Scottish hill. The secret to their beautiful designer chocolate gifts is combining the amazing talents of their in-house chocolatiers with the talents of independent illustrators, designers and creatives. They pay a royalty to the artists for each sale featuring their work, so by choosing Quirky Chocolate you're also supporting the independent creative community directly.
This non-perishable food item is lightweight and can be sent at a lower cost. If you are ordering non-perishable products shipped within the 48 continental United States - you pay a flat rate of $17 for ground shipping up to $150 of merchandise. Delivery will be from 5 to 10 days from the time you place your order. Delivery will be by UPS Ground Delivery or UPS Sure Post depending on the weight and ship-to location. Lightweight orders are eligible for lower Sure Post rates. If your order is eligible you will be charged the lightweight rate of $10 (under 3 lbs.) All orders are shipped from our North Carolina warehouse.
Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii are sent by Priority Mail in flat rate boxes and will be charged at the actual USPS rate for smallest possible box or boxes for your order.
