A smaller presentation haggis for your own small Burns Supper at home. Filled with two pounds of our tasty haggis and packed in a natural bovine casing, this haggis is really cute! 32 ounces of haggis can serve four as a main course, eight folks at four ounces each, or up to ten people as a small three ounce serving. Reheat as you would our regular haggis - steam in the oven in a covered water bath at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. This year's haggis production was made with gluten free organic oats.
Ingredients: Lamb meat, oatmeal, onions, beef liver, and spices. Our haggis is not labelled gluten free. Due to new gluten-free inspection and labeling requirements we can not label our haggis as gluten-free haggis. However, the oatmeal we use in all our haggis is gluten-free and has been since January 2020.
We taught a French sausage maker to make haggis despite months of bureacratic forms and inspections from the USDA to finally approve the making of haggis. And you get the rewards - a crumbly delicious haggis made from American lamb, onions, Scottish oats and Andrew Hamilton's special spice blend.
