Rich mincemeat drenched in Glenfiddich whisky! So fabulous, a generous customer sent me a box for Christmas and asked that I would add these for 2010. I tasted them and understood his request instantly. Walkers of Aberlour uses a classic mincemeat recipe with apples, currants, sultanas, spices, candied citrus peels, sugar - and oh yes, whisky. Flaky pastry crust made from wheat flour, vegetable oil, sugar, salt and a touch of powdered skim milk. Your guests will snap these up whenever you serve them, at tea, for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hogmanay. Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or remove them from their mini tart pans to microwave for 15-20 seconds. 13.1 oz box holds six tarts.
