Since our first catalog mailed in 2005, you've been asking for steak pie! Finally, we have mastered the way to ship a steak pie with a flaky pastry crust for you to enjoy at home. Each pie is literally filled with precooked tasty beef tips, onions and just the right spices in a tasty gravy. We've added a frozen pastry top, which must be cooked by you at home in an oven (sorry, no microwave). Simply remove the foil backed paper lid, and recrimp the pastry crust with the metal edges so it doesn't shrink as it cooks. Bake your pie at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes until pastry is golden brown and enjoy. Shipped frozen. 1 lb. tray serves two generous 8 oz. portions. We suggest serving with mashed potatoes and a seasonal vegetable like brussels sprouts and carrots.
