When Andrew, my husband, was growing up, Scotch Pies in Scotland were made with lamb, not beef. At some point when beef got less expensive than lamb, Scotch Pies you get at the corner were made with beef. You remember the flavor, and many have asked for a traditional mutton pie - so here they are. Each pie has a tasty filling made with lamb, onions, breadcrumbs and just the right spices. Precooked but shipped frozen so you can reheat and enjoy them whenever you please. Set of four 3 ounce pies. Packed two per plastic sleeve to protect the shells from drying out.
Please put a teaspoon of water on the top of each pie before reheating to soften the shells!
