Auld Lochnagar wins awards for its nutty, savory flavor. Allowed to mature up to twelve months, this cheese has a touch of annatto for color and has a painted rind which locks in the flavor during the aging process. Made by Alex Reid, using traditional methods he learned from his mother. This hard farmhouse cheese is made from raw, unpasteurized cow's milk. Each wedge weighs at least 8 ounces.
