Ashers Bakery was established in 1877. We manufacture & wholesale quality bakery produce throughout the UK & have 8 of our own shops and cafes around the Moray Firth area. We have a GM Free bakery with over 100 valued employees.
The business is owned & managed by brothers Alister & George Asher. George is a member of the British Confectioners Association. Alister is a past chairman of the Scottish Bakery Training Group and the SAMB '40 Group'. In October 1999, we launched our range of 3 single malt Whisky Cakes, which won the Scottish Gift of the Year Award 2000. In the same year we were runners-up in the British Baker of the Year Award.
