Vendor Info The Tain Pottery has been producing its own hand-painted ceramic designs since its founding in 1978. Today it is firmly established as one of the largest ceramic manufacturers in Scotland using traditional craft techniques. The team is lead by two master potters with over 50 years of combined experience.
You are welcome to visit their lovely pottery when in the Highlands and to watch as each piece is hand-painted.
All Tain pottery is painted with tinted glaze before firing, so the design is literally baked in. Using the Tain Pottery exclusive clay formula, each piece is also microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. Very collectible, beautiful and functional as well. Who could ask for anything more?
